Part 3 · 4 conversations
On a Tuesday evening Annie is talking to her mother on the phone in Liu Ming and Li Wen's flat when her phone suddenly goes black. Liu Ming is about to send something to the café.
安妮Annie
完了！我跟妈妈才聊了一半，手机突然关机了。
Oh no! I'd only got halfway through my chat with Mom when my phone suddenly shut off.
刘明Liu Ming
是不是没电了？
Is the power gone?

I must finish my homework first, and only then can I go out to play.
我一直在等你的电话，你刚打来，我就接了。
I've been waiting for your call, and I picked up as soon as you rang.

刘明Liu Ming
现在不行！十点以前，我要把下个星期的上班时间发给王经理，还要加一天班呢。

While Li Wen looks at the laptop, Liu Ming and Annie argue about whose fault it is.
刘明Liu Ming
你一进来，我的电脑就坏了，这太奇怪了。
The moment you came in my computer broke. That's so strange.
安妮Annie
怎么是我的问题？你自己是不是又忘了什么？
How is that my fault? Haven't you forgotten something yourself again?
刘明Liu Ming
我哪有！上个星期我只丢了一把伞。
I haven't! Last week I only lost an umbrella.
安妮Annie
你昨天才丢了手机，我听王一雪说的。
You lost your phone just yesterday, I heard from Yixue.
李文Li Wen

刘明Liu Ming

安妮Annie

And a moment ago you said it was my fault!
刘明Liu Ming

李文Li Wen
开机了。已经九点五十了，快发你的上班时间！

刘明Liu Ming
我太着急了，李文，你帮我发，行不行？
