Everyday errands such as sending a parcel mean forms, addresses, notices and payments. You will send a parcel at the counter, collect one after a notice arrives, book a pickup at your door, and copy and send documents for the school office.
You will learn to send and collect a parcel, fill in a form, pay, arrange a pickup at your door, and say what you do to a particular thing by putting it before the verb, for a finished action or a short, light one.

把字句 把+宾语+动词+了 / 动词重叠
Put 把bǎ + the thing before the verb, and after the verb add 了le for a finished action or repeat the verb for a short, light action.

In 我现在就去把快递取了wǒ xiànzài jiù qù bǎ kuàidì qǔ le, Anne says she will get the parcel collected and done with.
Ask for a short, light action
Use 把bǎ + object + verb + 一yī + verb.
In 您帮我把表格看一看nín bāng wǒ bǎ biǎogé kàn yi kàn, Liu Ming politely asks the clerk to look over his form.
Report a short action already done
Use 把bǎ + object + verb + 了le + verb.
In 我刚才把表格看了看wǒ gāngcái bǎ biǎogé kàn le kàn, Wang Yixue says she just had a quick look at the form.

看一看kàn yi kàn makes the request sound easy and light.

看了看kàn le kàn is a short action already done.
A：明天要用的表格呢？ B：我已经把它复印了，放在你桌子上。
A: Where is the form we need tomorrow? B: I've already photocopied it and put it on your desk.
安妮把通知看了看，决定今天下午就去取快递。
Anne glanced at the notice and decided to go and collect her parcel this afternoon.
You already use 把bǎ with a place or a result after the verb, as in 把书放在桌子上bǎ shū fàng zài zhuōzi shang. Two more endings are very common in everyday requests and reports. First, verb + 了le: the action is done to the thing and is finished, as in 我把快递取了wǒ bǎ kuàidì qǔ le, I collected the parcel, or the plan 我现在就把照片发了wǒ xiànzài jiù bǎ zhàopiàn fā le, I will send the photo right now. Second, a repeated verb for a short, light action: verb + 一yī + verb for something you ask for or plan, as in 您把表格看一看nín bǎ biǎogé kàn yi kàn, and verb + 了le + verb for something you already did briefly, as in 我把表格看了看wǒ bǎ biǎogé kàn le kàn, I had a quick look at the form. The order is always subject + 把bǎ + object + verb + ending. The verb can never end the sentence on its own, so 我把快递取wǒ bǎ kuàidì qǔ is wrong. The object is a definite thing both speakers know, such as 这张表格zhè zhāng biǎogé, not 一张表格yì zhāng biǎogé. Words such as 想xiǎng, 要yào, 先xiān and 没méi go before 把bǎ: 先把电话号码写对xiān bǎ diànhuà hàomǎ xiěduì.
